atlanta state farmer's market
For the second year in a row, I have made the trek out to the Atlanta State Farmer's Market for pumpkins. Anna Claire made the trip with me this year to snag a few shots with her camera. We had some fun getting the odd glances you would assume two girls playing in pumpkins, corn and gourds might receive. You just cannot beat the prices they have at the market! I wound up with 5+ pumpkins (not just small ones either) in a variety of colors and sizes for...SEVENTEEN DOLLARS, yes $17.00. Whole Foods tends to have a nice selection of gourds and pumpkins, but I have yet to find the selection as the Atlanta State Farmer's Market has anywhere else in the city. While it is not your typical white-tented weekend market, it is well worth the drive.
